At the Rumpin Modern Nursery, the President and the ambassadors will inspect a number of facilities, such as the germination house area, production house area, to water and sediment pools. After performing Friday prayers at the At-Taqwa Mosque, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Training Center Complex, the President is scheduled to return to the Bogor Palace.
Also accompanying the President on the review agenda were State Secretary Pratikno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, and Paspampres Commander Maj. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo.
Previously, President Jokowi emphasized the importance of building and developing nursery centers. Jokowi wants the nursery center to not only overcome ecological disasters, but also provide economic benefits to the community.
At the Center for Seeds and Nurseries, Rumpin Bogor, Jokowi targets tens of millions of seeds to be produced in that location. The seeds will be spread in various places that often experience floods, landslides and other disasters.
